Fabricator / Welder

Location: Leicester
Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, early finish Friday
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder looking for varied work, a stable day shift and an early finish every Friday?

We’re recruiting for an established Leicester-based sheet metal fabrication business producing bespoke and production-run metalwork. The work is varied, covering fabricated components, frames, guards, cabinets and general sheet metal assemblies for a range of customers.

The Role

• MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel components
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Fabricating, assembling and finishing metal parts
• Working with sheet metal, box section and tubular steel
• Using workshop machinery and hand tools
• Checking your own work for quality and accuracy

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Fabricator Welder or MIG Welder
• Confident reading engineering drawings
• Strong fabrication skills, not just production welding
• Experience working in a sheet metal or engineering environment
• Good attention to detail and pride in your work
• TIG welding experience would be useful, but not essential
